MILLER - Rachel [Tatro] The Lake County Times, Hammond, Indiana, Monday, October 14, 1918
Mrs. Albert Miller breathed her last at her home on East State street at 7:40 pm on October 6, aged 51 years 1 month and 26 days. Her health had not been good for the past year. Two weeks ago she took with a hard cold which turned to pneumonia. In spite of the careful nursing and the best of medical attention, in her weakened state she was unable to combat the malady that seized her.
Miss Rachel Tatro was born In Kankakee Ill on December 11 1866 and was the eldest daughter of ten children.
On September ?4, 1889 she was united in marriage to Albert Miller of Kankakee Ill.
Mrs. Miller leaves to mourn her two daughters Vera Millar and Mrs. Henry Harder Jr. She also leaves her father living in S t Anne Ill and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Debuque, Mrs. Belanger, and Mrs. Soule of St. Anne Ill, Mrs. George McNay of Africa, Mrs. Dr. Klein of Arizona, Mr. William Tatro of Georgia and Mr. George Tatro of Chicago, Ill.

Surviving: 2 daughters, Mrs. Edith Harder of Pierson, Florida; Mrs. Vera Peglow, of Hammond. 5 grandchildren. 1 great grandchild.
