Hesper Miller married Earl Jacob Kretser on December 15, 1909.
Earl Jacob Krester was born on July 30, 1879 in Wisconsin and died September 5, 1974 at Lynnwood,
Los Angeles County, CA.
The 1910 U.S. Census of Plainfield Township, Waushara, WI listed Earl Kretser, age 30, with no
dependents living with him.
Hesper and Earl are listed on the 1930 U.S. Federal Census of New Smyrna, Volusia County, FL. That
census shows Earl's occupation as a Carpenter, and Hesper's as a Janitor. At that time, the only child
living with them was Kieth Styrling Kretser, age 14.
Hesper and Earl had the following children:
- (M) Norman Harry Kretser was born February 4, 1911 and died August 4, 1919.
- (F) [Living] Kretser was born March 15, 1914.
- (M) Kieth Styrling Kretser was born March 18, 1916 and died April 9, 1990.

In 1942, Hesper Mae wrote a letter to Mildred Miller. At that time, Hesper was living in Daytona Beach, FL and outlined her memories of her father, Charles Manuel Miller. The letter reads, in part "I am glad he is out of his misery for I cannot mourn for him for I cannot remember him as a good father nor husband". Virginia June Kretser was born March 15, 1914 at Prarie du Sac, WI. She married twice; first, to Percy Wright Tyndall. Four children were born to that marriage, two female and two male children.The 2nd marriage of Virginia [Kretser] Tyndall was to Felix Rawlings [dates unknown]. There is no record that any children were born to that marriage.
