Reuben and Dora are listed on following U.S. Federal Census of 1900, 1910 and 1920 and on the New York State Census of 1892 of Colesville, Broome County, NY. The 1930 U.S. Federal Census lists Reuben and Dora living with their daughter Ethel M. [Miller] Hare and her husband, Edward Hare.
Reuben is listed on multiple censuses as occupation "farmer", with the 1910 census indicating they owned the farm (without a mortgage). That same census indicates there were 5 children born to them, of which only 3 were living.

Reuben and Dora had the following children:
