"Generations" gives a "birds-eye" view of the Miller family genealogy. Starting with Christopher S. Miller born in 1804 to the most recent generations that are not now living. Links to the Individuals page are included, except for those that were not married and/or died young. All of these are included in an "unmarried" page.
"Individuals" gives links to the pages of detailed information on each individual Miller, including their birth and death information, when known, and marriage(s), children and information gleaned from newspaper articles, census information, etc.
"Census" is one long page of information on all the Miller information from the 1840 U.S. Census up to the most recently available (1930) census. Much of the census information for 1890 was destroyed by fire, but we tried to find what we could from the NY State Census of 1892.
We have documented as much as possible, getting copies of birth, marriage and death records. A lot of documentation came from the Ancestry.com website, including all the census information. The Miller Family Bible, which was in the possession of my paternal grandparents had a lot of information that started this entire endeavor. We have been blessed with a lot of cooperation from living Millers and relatives that have shared pictures, stories, and information. Without the help of these people, this website would not be as complete as it is today. Thanks to everyone that has shared with us, proofread for us, and offered suggestions on how to make this a better site for researching the Miller family genealogy.
